Here are the 2026 Week 1 Offensive Line Ratings and Rankings
Baltimore, Chicago, NY Giants, Carolina, & Philadelphia make up the top 5 in week 1.
The Ravens did just about everything right as a offenisve line in week 1, but let’s tip the cap to those G-men of New York. They have stunk as a line for as long as I have been doing this, and in week 1 they were excellent at block win rate, excellent at pass protection, and excellent at run blocking. Now, they were facing the revamped, rebuilt, and re-horrible Dallas defense, but this looks like progress Giant fans.
Bringing up the rear the Chargers were bad, the Saints were worse, the Dolphins stunk, the Steelers were a silk curtain, and the Packers……
The Packers deserve their own paragraph because of their unbelievably putrid Pass Block Win Rate % from ESPN, an unfathomable 9%. No, I didn’t forget a digit, Green Bay won NINE PERCENT of their pass block opportunities.
So I looked up their stats from week 1, and the Pack had 46 pass attempts. That means they won roughly 4 of 46 (8.69%) pass block opportunities as a line. Another way to look at it is that they got beat on 42 of 46 pass drop back attempts. I really don’t know which way sounds worse.
Arizona won 22% of their pass block opportunities. Tennessee won 35%. Bengals 37%, Ravens 38%, and Chargers 39% all had abysmal weeks, but Green Bay cranked it down to -11 to win the Sieve of the Week award.
Special shoutout to the Steelers who were so terrible running the ball, their run score looks like an error. Pittsburgh was as bad running the ball as the Packers were at pass blocking in week 1. An that is saying something, or nothing. You pick.
