2026 Week 2 Offensive Line Ratings and Rankings are in the books.
Buffalo, Chicago, Kansas City, Baltimore and the L.A. Rams make up the top 5 this week
Buffalo shot up from 11th in week 1 to take the top spot in week 2. Baltimore slipped from #1 to #4 this week, the Bears stayed at #2 for the second week in a row. The Chiefs jumped up from 10th to 3rd this week, and the Rams rocketed up from 21st to 5th after their week 1 debacle in Australia.
Most interesting component of the top 5? That the Ravens have a -0.91 Block score from ESPN, the only team in the top 10 with a negative Block Win %. Baltimore posts a solid Pass Block score, and an exceptional Run Block score from our algorithm, so this will have to be watched to see if ESPN and the algorithm can come to an agreement.
Meanwhile, the bottom 5 have some familiar week1 names in it. The Chargers are 28th, unchanged from week 1. Houston plummeted into the bottom 5, dropping 15 spots and landing at 29th. The Saints drop down a spot to 30th. Arizona who was 26th last week, slides into 31st.
And then we get to the Packers…..The good news, their pass win block rate doubled from week 1 to week 2. The bad news is that their pass win block rate in week 1 was 9%, so doubling it gets them to the equally horrific 18% rating this week.
They might as well run all 5 linemen out in a little clown car and strike up the circus music when it comes to Green Bay attempting to pass. Compound this with an inability to run the ball and you get beat by 21 points by the Falcons at home, and can write a techinical manual on the 3 and out drive.
Arizona has a 22% Pass Block WIn Rate, Baltimore is at 35%(the root of the negative Block score in the rankings), and the Saints at 39%.
