Welcome to the 2026 NFL Season!
The 2026 season will kickoff tonight with Patriots @ Seahawks. The House Algorithm has Seattle as 2.8 point favorites over New England in the Super Bowl rematch.
Vegas has Seattle as 3.5 points favorites so the Algorithm will be riding with the Patriots tonight and take the extra 0.7 points.
Tomorrow the House Algorithm sees the Rams as huge favorites(-8.6) vs the Vegas line of -3.5. Australia is playing into this line as is the Aaron Donald absence. Either way, the Algorithm is going to take the Rams (-3.5) as it is saving over 5 points off its calculate line.
This is a good time to give the weekly reminder: All stats algorithms cannot account for injuries, suspensions, weather, jet lag, kangeroos, shrimp on the barbie, or whether a knife is a knife……Vegas does account for all this, so make sure you adjust your algorithm findings if using them for any type of wagering. Even the best algorithms will lose games due to not being to account for a QB1 injury, or a driving snowstorm.
The site has matchups for every game with a massive amount of stats about the game and teams. The amount of statistical data from 2018 – present on the site is all there for you to find and drill down into. Each week everything will be updated wiith 2026 stats, results, and new picks from our House Algorithm.
You can build your own algorithm, team power ratings and predictions for tonight and the rest of the season by joining up. Well you could if the site worked…..
Frantaic updating is underway as I write this(i am writing test code and writing this post in between tests). There were issues with the code assigning every user the text algorithms we used during building to make sure the algorithm buuilder was never compromised. Unfortumately this took up all your slots and there was no way to delete them! That is some quality coding and QA on our part.
Teamball was not allowing team creation, which is only a problem if you need teams……That is being fixed and you can join a league after the season starts to play along and help test.
The plan is to update all stats and game results/picks on Tuesday morning once all the new game stats are posted. This will allow your algorithms to be graded based on final scores, and then automatically calculate their new power ratings and picks.
After week 1 you can start using 2026 stats in algorithms so make sure you get in there and switch over to the new years stats and blend them into your algorithms. After week 4 or 5, your algorithm should run on only 2026 stats.
Algorithm records and Teamball results will be posted on the leaderboards and in your account each week.
There will be bugs a plenty and issues along theway, but 2026 is meant as a test season to get everything working smoothly and how is easiest and best for you the end user. Please submit any bugs or suggestions to info@nfllines.com.
