The Algorithm had a decent week going 9 – 7 in week 13. This brings the season record to 96 – 94 – 5. It was a huge week for Favorites straight up as they went 14 -2, but only 9 – 7 against the spread.

Pick of the Week – Las Vegas +13.5 @ Kansas City

Picking the Raiders at Kansas City is bold, but getting nearly two touchdowns made it easier. Las Vegas could have stolen the game and won outright, but this pick was never in doubt. Nice to have a winner for the entire 60 minutes of a game.

Punk of the Week – San Francisco +7 @ Buffalo

McCaffery going down again didn’t help, but it wasn’t going to change the outcome. The 49ers look like they are suffering from severe Super Bowl hangover. It is getting to the point where I doubt they will even make the playoffs. This might be the kind of season San Fran just strikes a line through and runs it back again next year hoping for better injury luck. However, there are some serious holes in the Niner defense and the offense seems out of sync without McCaffery. If McCaffery is slow to recover, it could be another long season in San Fran in 2025.
