The Algorithm went in the tank posting a 4 – 10 – 1 effort in week 9.  This week the Algorithm got off to a decent start and then cratered in the 4pm games.  Thursday night also continues to be a disaster for the Algorithm, but hopefully most of you know not to bet on Thursday Night games due to the short week and the unknown conditon of players.  It is difficult enought for NFL players to heal ove the course of a normal 7 day week, so playing on Thursday just results in betting on players in half fit or below normal condition,

Pick of the Week – Atlanta -3 vs Dallas

The Chargers -2 was an easier win, but betting against Dallas has been porfitable for the Algorithm.  Much like it rode Minnesota early, it has been riding picking against Dallas recently.  The Cowboys power rating is very bad as they rank very low in some key metrics that traditionally correlate highly with winning.

Punk of the Week – Denver +9 @ Baltimore

Taking 9 points with the Denver defense must have seemed like a good idea, especially considering how Baltimore has struggled with some lesser competition in 2024.  However, the Ravens came out and demolished the Broncos in almost every way imaginable.  29 points wasn’t enough to cover, so this is a classic punk of the week.
