The Algorithm went 8 – 8 in Week 3, putting the season mark at 27 – 20 – 1. This week has a couple of Algorithm issues that you should be aware of.
LA Chargers at home vs Kansas City sees the Chiefs as 8 point favorites due to the Herbert injury. Furthermore, right now with only 3 weeks data accounting for 75% of the power ratings, the Algorithm sees the Chargers as a 4.5 point favorite over the Chiefs based on the stats and the 3 points for being at home. Herbert’s status must be known before placing any kind of wager on this game.
The Algorithm spread is within 2 points of the Vegas spread in the following games:
- Packers vs Vikings
- Jets vs Broncos
- Bengals vs Panthers
- Texans vs Jaguars
- 49ers vs Patirots
- Dolphins vs Titans
The biggest suprise of all has to be the Algorithm says that at home, the NY Giants should be favored against the Dallas Cowboys this week by -1 point! I will have all the silicon checked over the weekend and report back next week how on Earth this could have possibly happened. The earliest lead we have so far is that the Cowboys kind of stink right now, and Malik Nabers appears to be a stud.
