About this stat ↓

What Pass EPA is

Passing EPA: expected points added on pass plays — each throw valued by how much it changed the team's chance of scoring, given down, distance and field position. One of the better single measures of passing quality, because a first-down conversion counts for more than the same yards that end short of the sticks.

Higher is better. It is shown per game, so a team's number does not depend on games played. Source: P + N.
