The Algorithm is back in good graces after a 9 – 7 effort in week 8.  The season record is back 1 game over .500 at 60 – 59 – 4.  The Algorithm again got off to a horrendous start, losing Thursday night and stumbling through the 1pm games.  However it caught fire at 4pm and into the prime time affairs.

Pick of the Week – Cleveland / Patriots Parlay

Normally only one game gets pick of the week, but if you wentr with the Algorithm and tooke a Browns / Pats parlay, particulatly on the money line, you are one happy camper.  The Browns/Pats moneyline parlay paid over 20 – 1, the Browns were +600 and the Pats +360, so if you hit this one you paid for the season.  Congrats!

Punk of the Week – Cincinnati -2.5 vs Philadelphia

There were a lot of losers to choose from, as there were several blowouts in Week 8, but let’s give the Algorithm some stick for the huge miss on the Bengals pick.  This was the pick that the Algorithm had to choose based on the difference of 1/10,000th of a point.  Now I don’t know about you, but I expect any decent Algorithm to be accurate to at least the 1/100,000th of a point so someone around here needs to get their act together or we will be looking for a new Algorithm….
