The Algorithm followed up its first losing week in 13 weeks with its worst week ever posting a dismal 3 – 11 record.  This drops the season record to 45 – 44 – 3.  It was a very odd week.  13 out of 14 favorites won ATS and all 14 won straight up.  In addition 10 of the favorites were Away Favorites and the one underdog cover was also the Browns who were at Philadelphia.

Pick of the Week – Green Bay -5 vs Arizona

There are few winner to pick from but laying -5 with the Pack who rolled over the Cardinals 34 – 13 would qualify as a pick of the week.  Unfortunately it just did not have much competition this week to beat out.

Punk of the Week – The Algorithm

I guess officially this has to be the Dallas pick +2.5 getting steamrolled by the Lions 47 – 9.  But there were so many to choose from:  The Saints who gave up 51 points.  The Pats & Raiders who forgot to get off the bus.  Thankfully we posted the warning last week in the picks that it was a Beware Of The Algorithm Week, and that turned out to be far more true than anyone would ever like to see again.
