NFL 2024 – WEEK 7 Power Ratings, Spreads & Predictions

The Algorithm had it’s worst week ever in week 6, taking it on the chin at 3 – 11.  That puts the season record at 45 – 44 – 3 in week 7.

The Algorithm is still rolling with some bad teams this week; Tennessee, New England, New Orleans, Cleveland, Las Vegas, & Giants.  The period between weeks 5 – 9 in 2023 was the worst performing weeks for the Algorithm.  So far in 2024, we are seeing a repeat of that as the Algorithm is using only volatile 2024 stats.

There are not any huge line errors this week, althoughthe Algorithm likes Tampa Bay at home vs Baltimore getting the +3.5 as it sees the Bucs as slight home favorites.  If you want to try to hit a real dog, how about the Giants at home vs the inconsistent Philadelphia Eagles?  The algorithm sees them as a slight home favorite getting +3.5 from Vegas as well.

The best bet may be Washington -8 vs Carolina.  It seems like a lot of points to give up with the Commodores defense, but the Panthers offense is fairly inept.  This could be someting like 31 – 16 by the time it’s over.

Remember that the Saints are going with Rattler again, the Raiders are rolling with O’Connell, and Maye will be getting his second start.  The Algoirthm has all 3 of these teams picks based on statistics so watch out and get some other eveidence before you put money on any of these teams.
