The Algorithm had a good week going 8 – 5 in week 14. This brings the season record to 104 – 99 – 5.
We have a nearly 7 point spread error in the NY Giants vs Baltimore game(6.99). The Algorithm was right about the G-men last week, but this may be a silicon bridge too far.
We have two 5 – 6 point spread errors. One in the 49er vs Rams game (5.06). San Fran did look good against Chicago, but you could agrue that the Rams looked better vs Buffalo, a much sterner test.
The other is New Orleans +7 vs Washington, which is due to Carr’s injury. This is exactly the type of line movement the Algorithm cannot predict unless I start putting in objective power ranking point deductions for injuries.
